The Department of Biochemistry is headed by Prof. Karl-Peter Hopfner. The office of the department is located in the two buildings A and K (BioSysM).
Working Groups
The research groups of the Department of Biochemistry together with several medical and veterinary research groups form the Gene Center. The Gene Center is a central scientific institute of LMU Munich. The groups are located in buildings A and K (BioSysM).
